Who We Are
At Successful Child ABA Therapy, we pride ourselves on our innovative and effective approach to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) by incorporating a hybrid model that combines the Verbal Behavior Model (VBM) and the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). This unique fusion enables us to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that meet the diverse needs of each child.
The Verbal Behavior Model, developed by B.F. Skinner, focuses on teaching language skills through the analysis of verbal behavior. This approach recognizes that communication is a fundamental aspect of a child's development and aims to strengthen verbal behavior and functional communication skills. By breaking down language into smaller, manageable units, we ensure that each child receives targeted instruction tailored to their specific needs. Through the VBM, we are able to assess and teach expressive language, receptive language, and social communication skills in a way that fosters meaningful interactions and increases overall communication abilities.
In addition to the Verbal Behavior Model, we also incorporate the Early Start Denver Model, a comprehensive early intervention program specifically designed for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ESDM emphasizes a relationship-based approach, promoting social engagement, communication, and joint attention skills. This model capitalizes on a child's natural interests and preferences, making learning fun and engaging. Through ESDM techniques, we target skills such as imitation, play-based interaction, social reciprocity, and adaptive behavior. By implementing this model, we focus on early intervention, helping children reach their developmental milestones and ensuring a strong foundation for future learning and growth.
By combining the strengths of the Verbal Behavior Model and the Early Start Denver Model, we are able to provide our clients with a comprehensive and hybrid approach to ABA therapy. This approach recognizes that every child is unique and ensures that our treatment plans are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. Through ongoing assessment, data analysis, and collaboration with parents and caregivers, we strive to maximize progress and foster positive outcomes for every child we serve.
At Successful Child ABA Therapy, we are committed to staying at the forefront of evidence-based intervention approaches. Our hybrid approach through the Verbal Behavior Model and Early Start Denver Model allows us to provide the most effective and individualized treatment to support the developmental and communication needs of each child. Through this approach, we aim to empower each child with the necessary skills to reach their full potential and thrive in all areas of their lives.
